Ethan M. Topper, Partner Ethan Topper is a Partner in UNION SQUARE ADVISORS. Prior to co-founding Union Square in 2006, Mr. Topper was a senior Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he headed the global technology mergers and acquisitions group. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Topper served as a Managing Director and Head of West Coast mergers and acquisitions for the Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Technology Group. Mr. Topper began his banking career in 1989 in the mergers and acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley. Prior to this, Mr. Topper spent two years working in private equity. During the last 15-plus years, Mr. Topper has directly executed and overseen hundreds of completed mergers and acquisitions transactions, representing in aggregate more than $150 billion in deal value. Mr. Topper received his B.A. in economics from Duke University and his M.B.A. with majors in finance and accounting from Columbia Business School. |
