Seihun Kong is a Director at

Prior to joining Union Square,
Mr. Kong was a Principal in the software investment banking group at
Banc of America Securities, where he advised and financed companies such as CA,
EMC, KKR, Symantec, TIBCO Software, VMware and Websense, among others.
Prior to BofA, Mr. Kong spent over eight years as an equity research analyst
at Alex. Brown and ThinkEquity focused exclusively on the enterprise software
sector. As a research analyst, he helped execute over 25 initial public (IPO)
and secondary offerings raising over $3 billion in common stock. Financings
included public offerings for Altiris, Ariba, Bluestone, Broadbase, BEA,
Extensity, Mercury, Opsware, TIBCO, and WebEx among others. Prior to his
investment career, Mr. Kong founded a private web design firm and received a
BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia and a MS in
environmental engineering from University of Florida.
