Alexander Despo is a Director at Union Square Advisors and is primarily focused on Life Sciences & HCIT, heading the firm’s coverage efforts focused on Pharma & Life Sciences Software, as well as Healthcare-focused middle and back-office technologies (payments, GRC and supply chain). Prior to joining the firm, he led Life Sciences & HCIT execution at Crosstree Capital and held roles at both Jefferies global technology group and Houlihan Lokey’s leading restructuring group.
Alex has 10 years of broad experience, including private and public company M&A, capital markets, and restructuring transactions with over 30 closed deals. He began his career at Johnson Rice in New Orleans and is originally from New Jersey.
